Ready to project...
Project anything (well, virtually anything)
Opaque projectors reflect bright light off non-transparent objects (books, photos, drawings) and use mirrors and lenses to project the reflected image onto a screen. Unlike overhead projectors that need transparent sheets, these could project anything solid!
Popular from the 1940s-1990s, opaque projectors were classroom staples before photocopiers and digital projectors. Artists loved them for tracing and scaling drawings. Now they're delightfully vintage!
